MG, United Tractors unite for Fighters Meeting in Indonesia

Training, tactics, and trends were among the topics covering truck loader cranes when representatives from MG., Japan and PT UNITED TRACTORS Tbk (PT UT) – the official MG distributor for Indonesia - convened in Jakarta for the annual MG Fighters Meeting.
The meeting, which took place at United Tractors, centered around strategic sales of truck loader cranes - also known as cargo cranes or the TM series.
MG attendees included Mr. Takahiro Saeki, GM of the Aerial Work Platform and Truck Loader Crane Sales Department; Mr. Sergey Pogorelov, Manager of the same department as Mr. Saeki; and two United Tractors Advisors: Mr. Masamichi Takeda, Marketing Advisor, and Mr. Yasushi Mori, After Sales Advisor. United Tractors attendees featured Directors Mr. Loudy Irwanto Ellias and Mr. Widjaja Kartika; General Manager Mr. Istiqo Projo; Managers Mr. Feri Setiawan and Mr. Tendy Lesmana Supratman; also nine marketers and 21 sales representatives - the MG Fighters.
“The MG Fighters meeting was held after 5-year gap and became a good opportunity to meet with salesmen from all regions and discuss results, prospects and tasks and strategy of TM business,” said Mr. Pogorelov, Manager of the MG Aerial Work Platform and Truck Loader Crane Sales Department.
The morning began with speeches and presentations before recognizing the 2023 MG Fighters Winner, Mr. Hasnan Nisfu, and announcing prizes and rewards for upcoming 2024 winners, which will include a trip to Japan.

After a group photo and coffee break, a series of 40-minute presentations, including:
- A presentation on truck cranes from Mr. Pogorelov, including the latest trends and growth of HRS models equipped with safety features such as the AML (Automatic Moment Limiter) and Safety Eyes.
- A presentation on MG’s Aerial Work Platform (AWP) mid-term management plan through 2026, including the AWP lineup after acquisition of Nagano Industry – the current MG Utilities – as well as their promotion strategy.

o Market Situation and Potential Sector Information
o Market Competition and Loss Deal Analysis
o Action Plan for 2025 and needed support from MG
o Sales Targets for 2025
After the sales meeting agenda, attendees had some time for rest & recreation before enjoying a dinner cruise on the Phinisi Jakarta. The evening featured conversation and entertainment, complete with door prizes from smart watches to speakers and coffee machines.
Mr. Pogorelov assessed the meeting results as follows: “MG Fighters got motivated to work harder next year and the sales plan for 2025 was increased by 15% from the original target after the discussions.”
After the five-year hiatus, the Fighters Meeting was considered a major success, leading to an agreement among MG and United Tractors to hold the next Fighters Meeting during the first half of 2025.
